Opposition Surges: Key Victories and Momentum in First Parliament Session

Collation politics recouped in 2024 election; changed the scenario for Modi government?

Worlds biggest democratic plenum is revised to unfold new chapters

In the present time, the dominant player of Indian politics, BJP has loosened its resilience in the last general election after facing a crisis-ridden opposition and diminishing effect of the Congress legacy. In a decade of the saffron party's reign, the opposition found itself in crisis due to the changed political rhythm of the country.

Before 2014, for two decades, India had only seen coalition governments in power, but Hindu nationalism emerged as the strongest pillar to gain voter's confidence.

Exit polls had also made strong claims over the absolute majority to the BJP party in this election, as it gained a clear mandate in the last three state elections. Though they neglected the unsatisfied incumbency wave in different parts of the country due to consistently rising unemployment rates, cost of living, and modern dystopia.

However, in contemporary days, Modi's allied partners are adding strength to him amid a strong mandate change. In the third term of the Modi government, alliance partners have strong negotiating power by joining the first such alliance since 1962.

General elections, 2024 has stated that India is ready for policies revision after refusing the autocratic one party rule. Since the last census of India was held in 2011 & published data for policy evidence is awaited form prolong time.

Meanwhile in the 18th Lok-Sabha, amid heated debates and new resolutions the third term of Modi's collation government took the charge. From 24th June till 3rd July the 7 days of parliament's 1st session has passed by assigning leader of opposition, passing three criminal laws and much more. I Rajya Sabha the list of 46 new speakers made their median speech in the house. The opposition remarks on government negligence and claims over underperforming Modi government has kept up the heat of the house.
